The clocks have gone back, there’s a chill in the air. And we are about to go Christmas crazy. That means only one thing! It is November (already?!) Well my little blog baby is now 3 months old! That three months have gone by in a blur that’s for sure. However I cant believe we have only been live 3 months. It feels like so much longer. It is that time of the month to look back over what we have been getting up to on the blog and across social media. It’s time for The October Edit.
The October Edit | Monthly Catch Up
Definitely the most exciting part of October was The Wedding blog Awards. It pretty much over shadowed anything else that happened. The excitement of the build up, the nerves, the event itself and of course the come down (read hangover) following the event. I met some amazing people that I been chatting to online over recent months and I am pretty sure these ladies will become very good friends over time.
As you are probably aware, I didn’t win the award for The Rising Star. However I was so proud to be made a finalist and the award went to the very deserving Laura from Devine Bride.
The evening was fantastic, I even managed to give Gethin Jones a smooch on the cheek. you can see how impressed he was!
2 of our most popular posts throughout October was of course our competitions with VM Bespoke and Borrowed & Blue Design. However there was plenty more you wanted to read.
Our Essex Wedding Venues post is our most popular non competition post to date! Keep an eye out for more counties soon!
Kate & David’s gorgeous Vintage Inspired Wedding continues to be very popular too. We aren’t surprised though, it really is a stunning wedding. We are always on the lookout for more gorgeous weddings to feature. If you would like to submit your wedding to us, you can do so here!
Our 13 must have wedding signs post was also rather popular throughout October. Wedding Signs are becoming more and more popular and they are perfect for ensuring your guests a fully filled in with your plans.
I’m going to admit it now, we have been pretty rubbish with managing our social media platforms this month. I’m not going to make excuses but I promise we will be much better this month! I love nothing more than getting social with all you lovely readers so more time must be spent chatting to you! There has been a fair amount of updates though – especially on the day of The Wedding Blog Awards (of course!)
So, October was a great month, especially with the awards taking place. But we are now ready to see what November holds.
I love November! Mainly as it is my birthday month, once that is out of the way I can start getting excited for Christmas!
