About Clare

About Me

Hi I’m Clare, a wedding obsessed 30 year old mummy to three little terrors. Since I planned my own wedding over 6 years ago I have dreamed of starting a business within the wedding industry. For a long time I didn’t know what that business looked like, or whether I could find the time to pursue it whilst being a mum and working as a manager in a high volume branded restaurant.

Our lives changed in 2014 when we had our third little boy. I found myself a stay at home mum with a void to fill. The wedding ideas were still bubbling away in the back of my mind but I really didn’t think I had enough experience or time to really dedicate it to the wedding industry.

In May 2015 I started a family lifestyle blog; Sons, Sand & Sauvignon. A place to share all about being a stay at home mum. A place for my creativity to flourish, and an outlet for the autism diagnosis journey we found ourselves on with our son; Hayden.

I decided to tap into my love of weddings on my lifestyle blog and loved every second of it. However, I had a niggling feeling every time I pressed publish that it just didn’t ‘fit’. After much deliberation, I decided it was time to dedicate more time to my passion and Confetti Ave. was born.
